By becoming a supporter of Gamer’s Voice, you’re joining a community of people who care about the future of gaming. From protecting player rights to supporting a thriving, innovative industry.
Supporters come together to help shape what we campaign on, how we represent gamers, and the direction we take.
Anyone who has an active payment subscription to Gamer’s voice via a card subscription, standing order or direct debit is considered to be a supporter.
1. Your role in the community
As a supporter, you are part of how Gamers Voice is guided and governed.
You can:
- Stand or nominate someone to become a Supporter Director if eligble to be a director of a UK company.
- Vote in elections for Supporter Directors when they take place
We aim to appoint up to two Supporter Directors to help ensure supporters are represented in leadership.
3. About participation not benefits
Supporter membership is about participation and supporting our mission, not purchasing benefits.
This means:
- There are no material or financial benefits attached to being a supporter
- Any opportunities to participate in discussions or events are part of our shared aims, not a transactional exchange
5. Managing your membership
If you have a Stripe subscription with us you can manage your membership with their customer portal. You can also email us at supporters@gamersvoice.org.
2. Taking part in the community
Supporters may be invited to take part in:
- Discussions about campaigns and priorities
- Community conversations about how we represent gamers
- Events or sessions focused on our work and direction
These activities are part of our collective work and shared mission, not paid-for services or benefits.
4. A shared community standard
We want Gamers Voice to be a welcoming, respectful space for everyone.
We ask all supporters to:
- Treat others with respect
- Avoid abusive, hateful, or harmful behavior
- Help create a positive and constructive community
If someone acts in a way that harms others or the community, we may remove their supporter status.
